I was never THAT homegrown like I should but you simply can’t deny where you are coming from. After moving away from this area while parts of my family still reside there, coming back is always like coming back to the area that shaped you. The people here wear one's heart on one's sleeve and even if this area has changed so much from the 80’s, the special flair is always present.
