Vertical image of an ornate gothic cloister passage with vaulted stone arches and intricate ribbed ceilings. The pathway features worn gray stone slabs and is lined with numerous slim columns adorned with detailed carvings. Near the far end, an enclosed glass lantern hangs above a placard mounted on the wall. Sunlight filters through openings on the right, creating a play of light and shadows along the corridor.

Despite having my opinion towards Christendom and rather following the Nordic beliefs, I always admired the ways especially cathedrals were built in the well-known gothic style.

It's amazing what people were able to create in the Middle Ages just for God's sake and if you've ever read Ken Follett's "The Pillars of the Earth" you will know what I am talking about - this archway of Canterbury Cathedral's inner courtyard is a piece of architectural excellence in terms of a gothic building!
