Tower Bridge in London, featuring two prominent towers with pointed roofs connected by upper walkways, set against a clear blue sky. The bridge is partly raised, displaying its bascule (drawbridge) mechanism in action. Visible are intricate architectural details on the Victorian Gothic towers and the blue and white color scheme of the bridge structure. A UK flag flutters atop one tower. The Thames River and riverbanks are visible, with architectural buildings in the background.

It's not that often that you encounter the process of the Tower Bridge being raised. In fact it just happens approximately 800 times a year and is always worth a look in wonderful London! While the periods of time are sometimes short, sometimes longer, this view is something special nevertheless.

Find more info on this and a schedule available at www.towerbridge.org.uk/lift-times!
